Hacienda San Lucas

If you ever find yourself in Copan, Honduras, you must dine at Hacienda San Lucas. Copan is best known for it's Mayan Ruins,

but outside the town, up a winding dirt road is this culinary and aesthetic jewel.

The food is traditional and a five course meal will run you about $25 US dollars.

Desolation, Number 1

This is the first of my Desolation series. The photograph was taken on a cross country road trip from San Francisco to Key West and back.

It was shot somewhere in Arizona.

Desolation, Number 4

This is another in my Desolation series. Taken in Eastern Oklahoma, I snapped this photograph and high-tailed it.

No Interest in Canned Meat

In the Pacific Islands, canned meat is plentiful. However, my guess is this young man was passing through to the candy isle.

Off the Coast of Palau

This photograph was taken from a dive boat off the shores of the island nation of Palau in Micronesia. The waters around Micronesia are so clear that you can see a sunken WWII warship nearly 100 feet below the water from the surface. If you like diving, I highly recommend it. However, beware, you will be spoiled to the point of not wanting to dive anywhere else.

Beauty and Grace

At one time, I combined my love of diving and photography, however, I found it difficult to enjoy both. I now do not bring my camera underwater, but instead enjoy the peaceful beauty that awaits under the waves. The above Sea Turtle was taken off the

coast of Antigua in the West Indies.

Going Down

Off the shores of St. John's island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. In my opinion, the best snorkeling in the world.
